Charges at a glance
Geojit does not run a single flat-rate model — it offers three brokerage plans (G Invest Max, G-Trade Max and G Trade Cash) that traders can pick between. Equity delivery brokerage of 0.30% is the same on every plan; intraday and F&O pricing differs by plan. See the full plan comparison below.
About Geojit
Geojit Financial Services Ltd (formerly Geojit BNP Paribas) is a Kochi-based stockbroker incorporated in 1987, listed on both NSE and BSE. It is registered with SEBI and is a depository participant with CDSL and NSDL, offering equity, F&O, currency and commodity derivatives, IPOs, mutual funds, portfolio management services and NRI investing through a trading-cum-demat account, backed by a large branch network across India and offices in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain and Kuwait.
Unlike single-plan discount brokers, Geojit lets clients choose from three brokerage structures — G Invest Max (percentage-based), G-Trade Max (flat/slab F&O pricing) and G Trade Cash (slab pricing tied to cash margin held) — so traders can pick the plan that best fits their volume and trading style, alongside access to Geojit's research desk and advisory services.

Brokerage plans compared
Geojit lets you pick between three brokerage plans. Equity delivery is priced the same everywhere; intraday and F&O rates differ by plan and, for G-Trade Max and G Trade Cash, by your trading volume or cash margin slab.
| Charge | G Invest Max | G-Trade Max | G Trade Cash |
|---|---|---|---|
| Equity delivery | 0.30% | 0.30% | 0.30% |
| Equity intraday | 0.03% | ₹20/order or 0.03%, whichever lower | ₹20/order or 0.03%, whichever lower |
| Equity futures | 0.01% | Slab: ₹40/₹30/₹20 per lot | Slab by cash margin: ₹40 down to ₹10 per lot |
| Equity options | ₹50 per lot | Slab: ₹20/₹15/₹10 per lot | Slab by cash margin: ₹20 down to ₹10 per lot |
| Minimum brokerage | ₹20 per contract note or 1 paisa per share (whichever higher), capped at 2.5% of contract value or ₹0.25/share | ||
G-Trade Max futures/options slabs step down as monthly lot volume rises (up to 750 lots, 751–2,000 lots, above 2,000 lots); G Trade Cash slabs are based on cash margin maintained (below ₹5L, ₹5–15L, ₹15–25L, above ₹25L). Confirm current slab boundaries on geojit.com before choosing a plan.

Pros & cons
