About Groww
Groww (Groww Invest Tech Pvt Ltd, formerly Nextbillion Technology) started in 2016 as a direct mutual fund investing app and later expanded into stocks, F&O and commodities. It is registered with SEBI and is a depository participant with CDSL, and is India's largest stockbroker by active users on NSE.
Groww is best known for its clean, beginner-friendly app that brings stocks, mutual funds, IPOs and F&O into one place. Unlike some discount brokers, equity delivery isn't free on Groww, but it makes up for this with a genuinely free-for-life demat account — ₹0 account opening and ₹0 AMC with no conditions.
