About Sharekhan
Mirae Asset Sharekhan (formerly Sharekhan BNP Paribas) is one of India's oldest full-service stockbrokers, founded in 2000 and among the first to offer online trading in the country. It is registered with SEBI (INZ000171337), is a depository participant with both NSDL and CDSL, and is a member of NSE, BSE and MCX across equity, F&O, currency and commodity segments, serving over 32 lakh customers through 900+ locations and 4,000+ branches and partner outlets.
Unlike flat-fee discount brokers, Sharekhan uses a traditional percentage-based pricing model — 0.30% on equity delivery and 0.02% on intraday and futures, plus ₹39 per lot on equity options — bundled with free equity, commodity and currency research, relationship-manager support, and a wide branch network. Account opening and the first year of demat AMC are free, and DP charges on sell transactions are waived when the sale is routed through Sharekhan itself.

- STT of 0.001% applies only on redemption (sell) of equity-oriented mutual fund units.
